Mihajlovic: The danger has not passed, I believe in citizens and responsible behavior

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, prof. Zorana Mihajlovic PhD, announced today on the Morning ptogram on TV Prva that on Monday, May 4th, the intercity bus and railway passenger traffic will start functioning, as well as city gtransport starting May 8th in Belgrade and Nis.

Mihajlovic emphasized that measures in Serbia are gradually relaxing, and that all safety measures will have to be followed in traffic.

"Safety measures to protect our health and that of other people are paramount and will not be able to get on a bus or train without a mask and gloves. Bus traffic is moving at full capacity, while estimates are that 30 per cent of trains are sufficient for railway traffic at the moment,” she said.

Deputy Prime Minister once again urged citizens to show personal responsibility and to act in accordance with an epidemic that is not over yet.

"It's important to know that we haven't bet the corona virus, that the danger is still there until we get the vaccine. We must learn to live with the virus, behave responsibly, and thus protect ourselves and others. I believe in our citizens, we have been through a lot in these two months and it is up to us - if we respect the measures and reduce the number of patients, there will be no new quarantines," she said.
