The corridor of the planned state road of IB category, measuring 67.94 km in length, starts at the existing “Požarevac” interchange on the E-75 Belgrade–Niš highway corridor (at km 264+05 of the highway), which also marks the beginning of the existing state road IB category No. 33. From this interchange, the corridor of the state road of IB category runs northeast through the territories of the city of Smederevo, the city of Požarevac (bypassing it from the north), and the municipality of Veliko Gradište (bypassing the built-up area from the south), continuing all the way to the entrance of Golubac. The planned state road route follows the existing state roads of IB category No. 33 (up to Požarevac) and No. 34 (Požarevac bypass), which are being reconstructed and widened, along the first section from km 0+000 to km 31+600. The second section, from km 31+600 to km 67+900, follows a newly planned alignment that bypasses settlements. For the entire route of the state road of IB category, the road alignment is planned and designed for a design speed of 100 km/h.
