Group for intelligent transportation systems performs tasks related to: participation in the preparation of the professional bases for the development of strategies, plans, laws and other regulations in the field of intelligent transportation systems; participation in the preparation of plans and financing of the intelligent transportation systems; promoting and participating in the preparation of the draft of the technical requirements, rates and standards in the field of intelligent transportation systems; monitoring and assessment of the implementation of strategies, plans, laws and regulations and initiating amendments to the law and regulations in the relevant field; preparation of the regulations regarding the technical requirements for intelligent systems in vehicles; improvement and definition of traffic signs, equipment, devices and systems in order to manage and control traffic, as well as intelligent systems for roads and vehicles; the implementation of regulations in the field of prevention and traffic regulation, participation in all activities of the projects related to the technical regulation of traffic on the national road network; definition of traffic signs, equipment, devices and systems for regulation and control of traffic and road equipment and improvements for the application of intelligent transport systems; other activities in the domain of the Group.
